17-Step A, ASD Relay Ground Circuit (Codes 26-42)

1. Place ignition switch in OFF position.
2. Disconnect white electrical connector from logic module.
3. Connect a voltmeter between logic module white electrical connector terminal No. 17 and ground.
4. Place ignition switch in RUN position and note voltmeter reading.
5. If voltmeter reading is within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module, make sure the terminal in cavity No. 17 is not crushed so that it cannot touch the logic module pin.
6. If voltmeter indicates 0 voltage, proceed to Test 17 step B.
