17-Step B, ASD Pull In Coil Circuit

1. Place ignition switch in OFF position.
2. Disconnect [1][2]power module 12 way electrical connector.
3. Place ignition switch in RUN position.
4. Connect a voltmeter between terminal No. 5 of the [1][2]power module 12 way electrical connector and ground.
5. If voltmeter reading is within 1 volt of battery voltage, check condition of terminal No. 12 of [1][2]power module 12 way connector. Also check wiring from terminal No. 5 of electrical connector for an open or short circuit.
6. If voltmeter does not indicate within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace [1][2]power module.
