5A Check For Spark at Ignition Coil Wire

1. Disconnect ignition coil wire from distributor cap.
2. Hold ignition coil wire terminal approximately 1/4 inch from good ground.
3. Start engine and check for spark between coil wire terminal and ground.
4. If there is no spark, check distributor rotor, cap or secondary wires, then proceed to Step B.
