C.Replace the Enrichment Solenoid Jet

Figure 7:

1. Locate the Enrichment Solenoid Valve on the carburetor directly above the accelerator pump housing (Figure 7).

2. Remove the Enrichment Solenoid Valve and replace the enrichment solenoid jet with a new one contained in the emissions service package.

3. Reinstall the Enrichment Solenoid Valve and tighten to 2.2 ft.lbs. (2.9 N-m).

NOTE: Do not over tighten the Enrichment Solenoid Valve since this will distort the valve and cause an over rich condition.
