G.Install New Oxygen Sensor (If Required)

If the maximum oxygen sensor voltage measured in step (A-10) of this procedure was less than 0.6 volts, install a new oxygen sensor at this time as follows:

1. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector. Remove air injection tube and heat shield from the exhaust manifold.

2. Remove oxygen sensor.

3. Install new oxygen sensor (PN MD117240).

4. Reinstall exhaust manifold heat shield and air injection tube. Connect oxygen sensor electrical connector.
