G. Install Vacuum Harness





1. Cut the vacuum hose between the thermovalve and the EGR valve as shown in Figure 13.





2. Discard the two short hoses on the end of the supplied vacuum harness assembly. Connect the vacuum delay valve to the cut hose leading to the EGR valve. Connect the open port on the connector to the cut hose leading to the thermovalve (Figure 14).





3. Locate and cut the vacuum hose from the carburetor base to the Depression Chamber Figure 15).





4. Route the harness around the carburetor and insert the harness F-connector into the cut ends of the hose (Figure 16).

5. To prevent interference with the carburetor linkage, secure the harness to the carburetor water hose using the shorter supplied tie strap.
