K. Replace Carburetor (Only for Continued High CO Level After Idle Speed and Mixture Adjustment)

1. Replace the carburetor per Service Manual Procedure using the applicable carburetor as follows, and a new gasket from the Emissions Service Parts Package:

PN # MD997198 - Colt Vista 4WD W/Manual Transmission
PN # MD997196 - Ram 50 W/Automatic Transmission
PN # MD997195 - Ram 50 W/Manual Transmission

NOTE:
Do not install a Choke Shim on the new carburetor.

2. Check and adjust idle speeds as necessary.

3. Disconnect the tachometer and remove the analyzer probe from the tailpipe.

4. Reinstall the air cleaner assembly.
