L. Check Intermediate Harness Installation

1. Locate the Carburetor Control Unit (CCU), (Figure 23).

2. Verify the presence of an intermediate harness - between the smaller of the two CCU connectors and the CCU (Figure 24).

3. If the intermediate harness is missing, install harness as follows:

a. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

b. Disconnect the smaller of the two CCU connectors.

c. Insert the intermediate harness between the CCU and connector.

d. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
