A. Remove and Clean Carburetor

1. Remove air cleaner assembly and plug vacuum tee.

2. Drain about one gallon of engine coolant from the radiator and save for later use.

3. Remove the throttle return spring.

4. Remove the carburetor following Service Manual procedures.

5. Clean the choke linkage with MOPAR Brake and Carburetor Parts Cleaner or equivalent.





6. Clean the Primary Air Bleed Jet, Secondary Air Bleed Jet, and Choke Shaft (Figure 1).
