K. Replace Carburetor

(Only For Continued High CO Level after Idle Speed and Mixture Adjustment)

1. Replace the carburetor per Service Manual procedure using the applicable part number as follows:

Part No. MD997198 - Colt Vista 4WD W/Manual Transmission
Part No. MD997196 - Ram 50 W/Automatic Transmission
Part No. MD997195 - Ram 50 W/Manual Transmission

NOTE:
Do not install a Choke Shim on the new Carburetor.

2. Check and adjust idle speeds as required.

3. Disconnect the tachometer and remove the analyzer probe from the tailpipe.

4. Reinstall the air cleaner assembly.
