SYMPTOM/CONDITION

Intermittent buck or surge during light acceleration, vehicle may also experience die-out during deceleration at slow speeds.

DIAGNOSIS

If the vehicle has not had this filter jumper harness installed, continue with the repair procedure.

NOTE: THIS HARNESS WILL FIT ONLY "E" PRICE CLASS VEHICLES, IT WILL NOT FIT A FIFTH AVENUE.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

This repair involves the installation on a filter jumper harness into the distance sensor wiring.

1. Locate the two wire connector near the rear of the passenger side engine valve cover (white wire with orange tracer and black wire with light blue tracer).

2. Separate this connector, and install the filter jumper harness.

3. Type "Filter Jumper Harness, P/N 4414708 Installed" on the Authorized Modification Label, and attach near the VECI label.
