Timing Chain Cover Replacement

1. Drain cooling system, then remove radiator, fan and shroud, all drive belts.
2. Remove water pump, then power steering pump.
3. Remove crankshaft pulley from vibration damper, then vibration damper.
4. Remove fuel lines and fuel pump.
5. Loosen oil pan bolts and remove front bolt at each side.
6. Remove chain case cover and gasket, using extreme caution to avoid damaging oil pan gasket other wise oil pan will have to be removed. It is normal to find particles of neoprene collected between crankshaft seal retainer and oil slinger.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
