14-Power to Pull-In Coil & Auto Shutdown Relay

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect 14-way connector at SMEC and inspect for terminal damage. Repair if necessary, then proceed to Test 16. If connector is satisfactory, proceed to step 2.
2. Connect an ohmmeter 14-way connector terminal No. 3 and the dark blue/white wire at auto shutdown relay.
3. If ohmmeter indicates continuity, replace SMEC, then proceed to Test 16.
4. If ohmmeter indicates no continuity, locate and repair open in dark blue/white wire between auto shutdown relay and controller, then proceed Test 16.
