2 Fuel From Injector & Fuel Control Faults
1. Remove the air cleaner, then disconnect and ground distributor end of coil wire.
2. Crank engine for at least 7 seconds while watching for injector fuel spray.
3. If there was normal fuel spray from the injector, proceed to Test 3. If there was excessive fuel spray from the injector, proceed to Test 9.
4. If there was no fuel spray from injector, connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine diagnostic connector, then turn ignition switch to the Run position.
5. If display screen is blank, refer to ``Obtaining Fault Codes And Messages.'' If display screen is not blank, select system ``Engines.''
6. If display reads ``No Response,'' refer to diagnostic read-out tool problems and messages. If display does not read ``No Response,'' read fault data.
7. If display reads ``Inj 1 Control Ckt,'' proceed to Test 8. If display reads ``No Faults'' or faults other than ``injector 1 Control Ckt,'' proceed to Test 6.
