SUBJECT: Front Door Glass Chatter

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Some of the subject vehicles may exhibit a front door glass chatter and have no apparent defects in the regulating system. This condition appears primarily on power window systems and is aggravated when the window system is wet. This condition can be corrected by lubricating the inner rear stainless steel channel of the front door glass run and channel assembly.

PARTS REQUIRED:

1 Mopar Multi-Purpose Lubricant 4318063


REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This procedure involves applying lubricant to the stainless steel channel.

1. Position the glass in the down position.

2. Spread the glass run lips open to allow access to the inner stainless steel channel (Figure 1-A).

3. Using a small brush or cotton swab, apply a film of Mopar Multi-Purpose Lubricant along the inside surface of the stainless steel channel between points B and C in (Figure 1).
