Power Door Lock Actuator: Testing and Inspection

FRONT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION
1. Move the lever, and check the continuity between the terminals.
2. Connect the battery source directly to the actuator terminals between (1) and (3), and check the actuator plunger for operation. If the plunger moves in opposite direction when the connection polarity is changed, the plunger should be considered to be in normal condition.





REAR DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION
Connect the battery source directly to the actuator terminals between (1) and (3), and check the actuator plunger for operation. If the plunger moves opposite direction when the connection polarity is changed, the plunger should be considered to be in normal condition.
