Seat Belt Warning Timer: Testing and Inspection

TIMER OPERATION CHECK





1. Remove the seat belt timer from the fuse block.









2. Connect the battery and the test bulb to the timer, as shown in the illustration.
3. Make sure that when terminal 1 is connected to the positive (+) terminal of the battery, test bulbs 1 and 2 are lighted for approx. 4 to 8 seconds.





4. Make sure that even when terminal 4 5 disconnect while test bulbs 1 and 2 are lighted in 2. above, test bulb 2 remains lighted.
