Checking Rotation Torque of Limited Slip Differential

1. Set shift lever of transaxle to neutral position, lock front wheels and fully release the parking brake.
2. Raise rear of vehicle so only one wheel is not in contact with ground.
3. Remove wheel and mount end yoke holder tool No. MB990767 or equivalent, to hub bolts using hub nuts.
4. Using a suitable torque wrench, measure side gear rotation torque in forward direction.
5. If rotation torque is not 1.8 lb-ft or more, disassemble limited slip differential and inspect each component.
