Seals and Gaskets: Service and Repair

NOTE: The following procedures are only for the left side drive axle.

1. Using a suitable screwdriver, remove dust seal from bearing bracket assembly.
2. Using a handle and adapter installer tools No. MB990938 and 990930 or equivalents and a mallet, press dust seal in until seal is flush with bearing bracket end.
3. Coat inside circumference of seal with suitable grease.
