Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

Light Switch Replacement (Typical):

Disable airbag, refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts/Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems)/Service and Repair. After procedure has been completed, rearm airbag system.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Reach under instrument panel and depress light switch knob release button, then pull light switch knob and shaft from switch.
3. Remove four bezel attaching screws and bezel.
4. Remove switch attaching screws and disconnect electrical connector from switch.
5. Remove switch from panel.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
