Brake Fluid Pump: Description and Operation

Modulator & Pump Motor Assembly Operation
This assembly contains the wheel circuit valves used for brake pressure modulation and the pump motor.

The pump motor pumps brake fluid at a low pressure into the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) accumulator during a stop that requires the ABS system to become operational.
