With Cruise Control

Cruise Control Actuator Cover:





1. Remove the cruise control actuator cover.

Accelerator Cable And Pedal Assembly (W/ Cruise Control):





2. Loosen the adjusting nuts A, B, and C.

Cable "C" (Accelerator) Adjustment Point:





3. Adjust accelerator cable A. With the intermediate link C of the actuator held against the stopper (in the direction indicated), turn the adjusting nut to remove slack. At the point that the cable becomes tight, back off the nut 2 turns and secure with the lock nut.

Inner Cable Free play = 0.08 - 0.12 in
(2-3 mm)

4. Tighten the lock nut.

Cable "B" (Throttle) Adjustment Point:





5. Next, adjust throttle cable B. Turn adjusting nut B to remove slack. At the point that the cable becomes tight, back off the nut approx. one turn and secure with the lock nut.

Inner Cable Free Play:
0.04 - 0.08 in (1-2 mm)

6. Tighten the lock nut.

Cable "A" (Cruise Control) Adjustment Point:





7. To complete the adjustment, adjust the cruise control cable A. Turn adjusting nut A to remove slack. At the point that the cable becomes tight, back off the nut approx. one turn and secure with the lock nut.

Inner Cable Free Play:
0.04 - 0.08 in (1-2 mm)

Accelerator Cable, Throttle Body End:





8. Confirm that the throttle lever stopper touches the idle position switch.
9. After adjustment confirm that the throttle valve fully opens and closes by operating the accelerator pedal.
