Radiator Cooling Fan Motor Relay: Testing and Inspection

Radiator Fan Relay Location.:

1. Remove radiator fan motor HI and LO relays from relay box located in engine compartment.

Radiator Fan Relay Terminal Identification.:

2. Check continuity between terminals 1 and 3, continuity should exist, then check between terminals 4 and 5, continuity should not exist.
3. Connect battery positive to terminal 1 and battery negative to terminal 3, then check continuity between terminals 4 and 5 continuity should exist.
4. If not within specifications, replace HI or LO relay.
