WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition on and battery voltage greater than 10 volts.

SET CONDITION
The rear defogger button is depressed or shorted to ground for greater than 30 seconds.

THEORY OF OPERATION
The rear defogger switch is used to turn the rear defogger on or off.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
- HVAC control head
- HVAC mode switch mux shorted to ground
- Body control module
