No Cluster CCD Bus Message

NOTE The code becomes active as soon as the malfunction is detected and becomes stored when the ignition is switched off.

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously when the ignition is on.

SET CONDITION
If the ACM fails to see the status message for 5 continuous seconds the code will be set.

THEORY OF OPERATION
The cluster transmits an airbag warning lamp message on the COD bus one time every second. The ACM monitors the CCD bus for the airbag warning lamp message. If the ACM fails to see the status message for 5 continuous seconds the code will be set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent bus failure
- Faulty instrument cluster circuit board
- Faulty airbag control module
