Piston Pin: Description and Operation

Piston pins are full-floating, join the pistons to the connecting rods. The piston pins are held in place by lock rings.

NOTE: Pistons and rods are weight matched for balance. Do not switch pistons with other rods. Piston and rods are serviced as an assembly for balance.
