Tire Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Diagnostics for the electronic components of the low tire pressure warning system are done using the DRB scan tool and the required procedure listed in Powertrain Management, Computers and Control Systems, Body Control Module. The tire pressure sensors/transmitters and warning module are not repairable components. If during the diagnosis procedure either of the components is found not to be functioning properly or is damaged the component must be replaced.
