Lower

The lower front control arm used on this vehicle, is made of a high strength aluminum alloy. The control arm is made using a process called semi solid forging.

The lower front control arm is attached to the frame using through bolts in rubber isolator bushings. The rubber isolator bushings are pressed into the control arm.

The lower front control arm contains the lower ball joint which is pressed into the control arm.

The only replaceable component of the front lower control arm is the push rod bushing. The isolator bushings on the lower front control arm are not a replaceable component of the lower control arm. If the isolator bushing are found to be defective the entire lower control arm will require replacement.
