Rear
The rear stabilizer bar interconnects the rear lower control arms of the vehicle. The purpose of a stabilizer bar is to take jounce and rebound movements affecting one wheel of the vehicle, and partially transmitting them to the opposite wheel. By doing this it helps to stabilize the body roll of the vehicle.
The rear stabilizer bar is attached to the frame of the vehicle in two locations. The stabilizer bar is mounted to and isolated from the frame using two replaceable rubber isolator bushings and bushing retainers. Attachment of the stabilizer bar to the lower control arms is done using a link and isolator at the stabilizer bar to real lower control arm mounting locations.
