Rear

NOTE: The stabilizer bar attaching links used on this vehicle can be replaced without removing the stabilizer bar from the vehicle.

REMOVE
1. Raise vehicle on jackstands or centered on a frame contact type hoist.

NOTE: When removing the center cap do not use a sharp or hard tool. Using a sharp or hard tool can damage the finish on the wheel and damage the center cap

2. Remove the center cap from the wheel. Center cap is to be removed by inserting a trim stick into the notch on center cap and prying it off the wheel.
3. Remove the rear wheel and tire from the side of the vehicle requiring attaching link replacement.





4. Remove the nut attaching the stabilizer bar attaching link to the lower control arm.





5. Remove the upper bushing from the bolt of the stabilizer bar attaching link.





6. Remove the attaching link bolt and lower bushing from the stabilizer bar.
7. Pull down on the end of stabilizer bar and remove the upper bushing from between the stabilizer bar and the lower control arm.

INSTALL
1. Pull down on the end of the stabilizer bar. Install the bushing between the stabilizer bar and the lower control arm.
2. Install the lower bushing and bolt into the stabilizer bar attaching link.
3. Install the upper bushing on the stabilizer bar attaching link bolt.
4. Install the nut on the bolt of the stabilizer bar attaching link.
5. Tighten the stabilizer bar attaching link bolt to a torque of 30 Nm (265 inch lbs.).
6. Install the wheel and tire assembly.
7. Install center cap on wheel.
8. Tighten the wheel mounting stud nuts in proper sequence until all nuts are torqued to half specification. Then repeat the tightening sequence to the full specified torque of 122 Nm (90 ft. lbs.).
9. Lower vehicle.
