Inspect the stabilizer bar attaching links for any of the conditions which are listed below. If any of these conditions are found when inspecting the stabilizer bar links, the link will require replacement. Do not attempt to repair a stabilizer bar attaching link.
- Inspect the attaching links for any bending of the center section of the link.
- Inspect the ball joint seal boots for holes, tears, cracks and any type of deterioration. If any of these conditions are found the attaching link will need to be replaced
- Inspect the attaching link ball joints for any visible end play or excessive looseness. If any of these conditions are found the attaching link will need to be replaced.
- Inspect the ball joints of the attaching links for binding. If a ball joint on the attaching link is binding the attaching link will need to be replaced.
- Check the attaching link mounting points at the stabilizer bar and rocker arm to be sale the mounting nuts are tight. If required tighten the nuts to the specified torque.
