Wastegate Actuator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove induction tube.
2. Remove clip from actuator rod to wastegate.
3. Disconnect vacuum hose.
4. Remove screws from actuator to turbo.
5. Remove actuator assembly.


INSTALLATION

1. Install actuator assembly.
2. Connect vacuum hose.
3. Install clip for actuator rod to wastegate.
4. Connect induction tube. Be sure that the clamps are installed properly. Improper seating of the clamps can cause loosening of the tube followed by leaking.
