Rear Door Striker: Service and Repair

REAR SIDE DOOR STRIKER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the rear side door.
2. Remove the following components from the door jamb:
- The 2 screws (2)
- The door lock striker (1)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




Install the door lock striker (1) to the door jamb. Secure the striker with the 2 screws (2).

Tighten the door lock striker screws to 23 N.m(17 lb ft).

2. Close the rear side door.
