Front Emblem and Nameplate Replacement

Removal Procedure






Important: Protect all painted exterior surfaces with suitable tape or cloth.


1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the left side radiator grill. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Using a suitable tool, disengage the front facia emblem retention clips (1) away from the front facia emblem locating pins (2).
4. Remove the front facia emblem from (3) from the front facia (4).



Installation Procedure






Important: Protect all painted exterior surfaces with suitable tape or cloth.



Important: Make sure the locating pins (2) are correctly aligned in the front bumper fascia (4) to provide accurate location of the front facia emblem (3).


1. Engaging the datum pins (2) into the front bumper fascia (4), install the front facia emblem (3).
2. Applying pressure to the front facia emblem retention clips (1), securely engage them onto the front facia emblem locating pins (2).
3. Inspect the front facia emblem (3) for flushness against the front bumper facia (4).
4. Install the left side radiator grill. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Close the hood.
