Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the storage compartment (1) to I/P tower retaining screws (2).
3. Remove the storage compartment (1) from the I/P tower.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the storage compartment (1) to the I/P tower.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the storage compartment to I/P tower retaining screws (2).

Tighten the screws (2) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Operate the storage compartment lid for correct operation.
