Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Service and Repair) .




3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley to accessory drive mounting bracket retaining bolt (1).
4. Remove the dished washer (4) and drive belt idler pulley (3) from the accessory drive mounting bracket (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the dished washer (4) and drive belt idler pulley (3) to the accessory drive mounting bracket (2).
2. Hand tighten the drive belt idler pulley to accessory drive mounting bracket retaining bolt (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Tighten the drive belt idler pulley to accessory drive mounting bracket retaining bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).

4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair) .
