Timing Chain Idler Sprocket Installation - Right Side





Important: The recessed hub and the smaller sprocket of the right camshaft intermediate drive chain idler (2) is installed outward. The raised hub and the larger sprocket of the right camshaft intermediate drive chain idler (2) is installed towards the block.


1. Install the right camshaft intermediate drive chain idler (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the camshaft intermediate drive chain idler bolt (1).

Tighten the bolt to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
