Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Installation






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install thermostat housing to cylinder block retaining bolts (4) ensuring a new block gasket (1) and rubber grommets (3) has been fitted.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).





2. Install the heater pipe assembly to thermostat housing retaining bolts (5) ensuring new O-ring seals (6) have been fitted.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the heater pipe assembly (4) to cylinder head (2) retaining bolt (3).

Tighten the bolts to 35 Nm (26 lb ft).
