Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 2

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution (Safety Glasses Warning) .
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the upper intake manifold Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Replacement (Service and Repair) .




4. Remove the ignition coil harness connector from the ignition coil.
5. Remove the ignition coil to camshaft cover retaining bolts (1).
6. Remove the ignition coil from the vehicle (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the ignition coils (2) to the engine.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the ignition coil to camshaft cover retaining bolts (1).

Tighten the ignition coil bolt(s) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the ignition coil harness connector to the ignition coil.
4. Install the upper intake manifold Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Replacement (Service and Repair)
5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair) .
