Front License Plate Bracket Replacement
Removal Procedure
Important: The vehicle must be situated on level, stable ground.
1. Remove the licence plate mount fasteners (1) from the licence plate mount (2).
2. Disengage the licence plate mount (2) from the front bumper fascia (3) in a level, horizontal motion.
Installation Procedure
Important: If the front fascia (2) has been replaced, the licence plate mounting holes will require re-drilling, using a suitable tool.
Important: Prior to drilling, the licence plate mount (1) must be centrally located and secured on the front fascia (2) using non marking adhesive tape and all critical edges (3) sitting flush against front fascia (2).
1. Use suitable non marking adhesive tape to secure the licence plate mount (1) against the front fascia (2), ensuring all critical edges (3) are flush.
2. Using a suitable tool, drill 2 mm pilot holes in the indicated positions (4) on the front fascia (2) using the licence plate mount (1) as a template.

3. Install the licence plate mount (2) onto the front fascia (3).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .
4. Install the licence plate mount fasteners (1).
Tighten the licence plate mount fasteners to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
5. Remove any adhesive tape used to secure the licence plate mount (2) to the front fascia (3).
