Transmission Support Replacement (Except 5L40 and 6L50)


Removal Procedure

Caution:Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .

Caution:Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution .

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement .





3.Remove the transmission support to transmission mount retaining nuts (1).

4.Support the transmission with a suitable supporting stand.





1.Remove the transmission support to subframe retaining bolts (1).

2.Remove the transmission support from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1.Install the transmission support to the vehicle.

Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .

2.Install the transmission support to subframe retaining bolts (1).

TightenTighten the bolts to 58 N �m (43 lb ft).

3.Remove the suitable supporting stand from the transmission.





1.Install the transmission support to transmission mount retaining nuts (1).

TightenTighten the nuts to 22 N �m (16 lb ft).

2.Install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement .

3.Lower the vehicle.
