Coolant Recovery Reservoir Pipe Replacement (6.0L Engine)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
2. Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair) .




3. Detach the coolant recovery hose from the outlet housing (1).




4. Detach the coolant recovery reservoir hose (1) from the radiator retaining clips (2).




5. Detach and remove the coolant recovery hose (2) from the coolant recovery reservoir filler neck (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Attach the coolant recovery hose (2) to the coolant recovery reservoir filler neck (1).




2. Attach the coolant recovery reservoir hose (1) into the radiator (2) retaining clips (3).




3. Attach the coolant recovery hose (2) to the outlet housing (1).
4. Inspect the coolant level and "top up" if necessary.
5. Install the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
