Valve Rocker Arm Cover Removal - Left Side





1. Remove the spark plug leads (1).




2. Remove the ignition coil assembly to valve rocker arm cover retaining studs (2).
3. Remove the ignition coil assembly (1).




4. Loosen the valve rocker arm cover to cylinder head retaining bolts (1).
5. Remove the valve rocker cover (2).





Important: The valve rocker arm cover gasket is a single use only component and must be replaced whenever the valve rocker arm cover is removed from the cylinder head.


6. Remove the valve rocker arm cover gasket (1).
Discard the valve rocker arm cover gasket (1).
