Valve Lifter Oil Manifold Installation





1. DO NOT lift the Valve Lifter Oil Manifold (VLOM) (2) by the electrical lead frame (1).





Important:
* All gasket surfaces should be free of oil or other foreign material during assembly.

* Do not allow dirt or debris to enter the VLOM. Plug, as required.



2. Install the VLOM outer gasket (1) onto the VLOM (2).




3. Install the VLOM (1) to the cylinder block (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

4. Install the VLOM to cylinder block retaining bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
