Passenger Compartment Air Filter Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution (Safety Glasses Warning) .
1. Remove the plenum chamber cover panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .





Important: Push the pollen filter (1) downwards and pull outwards to remove.


2. Remove the pollen filter (1) from the pollen filter housing (2).



Installation Procedure






Important: Ensure the arrows on the base of the pollen filter (1) are pointing toward the HVAC unit.



Important: Twist and collapse the pollen filter (1) and position the pollen filter (1) in the pollen filter housing (2) lower retaining grooves. Release the twist in the pollen filter (1) and seat the pollen filter (1) in the pollen filter housing (2) upper retaining grooves.


1. Install the pollen filter (1) to the pollen filter housing (2).
2. Install the plenum chamber cover panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
