Liftgate Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the liftgate sill trim plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 2 bolts (2)
* The rear liftgate striker (1)




Installation Procedure





1. Install the liftgate striker (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Secure the striker with the 2 bolts (2).

Tighten the rear compartment lid lock striker bolts to 11.5 N.m (9 lb ft).

3. Install the liftgate sill trim plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair).
