Park Brake Hardware Inspection

Park Brake Hardware Inspection (Drum Brakes)





1. Visually inspect the park brake hardware (7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 24) for the following conditions:

* Excessive corrosion
* Excessive stretching
* Broken components
* Bent components
* Twisting or binding
* Missing components

2. Replace the park brake hardware with the drum brake shoes if necessary. Refer to Brake Shoe Replacement (FWD) (Service and Repair).
