Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment door.
2. Remove the I/P right outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the I/P compartment assembly screws.
5. Remove the I/P compartment assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the I/P compartment assembly.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Tighten the I/P compartment assembly screws.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

3. Close the I/P compartment door.
4. Install the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
5. Install the I/P right outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
