Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT).
2. Remove the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement (Communication Interface Module Replacement).
4. Remove the OnStar module bracket. Refer to Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement (Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement).




5. Remove the recirculation door actuator screws.




6. Remove the recirculation door actuator.
7. Remove the recirculation door actuator wire harness connector.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the recirculation door actuator wire harness connector.




2. Install the recirculation door actuator.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Tighten the recirculation door actuator screws.

Tighten the screws to 1.5 Nm (13 lb in).

4. Install the OnStar module bracket. Refer to Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement (Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement).
5. Install the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement (Communication Interface Module Replacement).
6. Install the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
7. Install the fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT).
