Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Partially detach the weatherstrip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Partially detach the weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Grasp both sides at the top of the trim panel (2) and while spreading, pull away from the door opening, disengaging the trim clip (1).
4. Pull the trim panel inward out of the lower sill trim panel (3) and remove.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the top edge of the centre trim panel (1) into upper sill trim panel.

Important: Make sure datum pins on the lower trim panel (2) line up with the hole on the upper trim.


2. Firmly push in lower section of the trim panel (1).
3. Attach the weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Attach the weatherstrip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement (Service and Repair).
